The Tenet of The Timekeepers Hunt

Where the City's clocks and timepieces mark the passing hours, a deeper truth lies hidden in their faces. The Guild of the Timekeepers, sworn to measure the span of every life, scattered eleven marks among the timepieces that watch over London in the United Kingdom — each bearing a letter, each counting down to a truth that only those who value their time would bother to find.

You just need to look up. Follow the trail, heed the chimes, speak the code words, and gather the letters that spell a pledge long kept by the Timekeepers — for within that pledge lies a reminder that the hours do not wait.

It was predicted long ago by the Guild that the time would come where humanity would traverse the streets with their heads hanging low, becoming less and less aware of their surroundings and in turn the history buried within. But there would be a select few who would instinctively stumble across the Emblem carried through the ages, and be reminded to hold their heads high, and look up to marvel not only at nature and many structures born of the endeavour to succeed, but at the trail of the Guild hidden in plain sight...

You have found the Emblem…now you need to decide if you will follow The Way Of The Hunt

The Way of the Hunt

  1. I.Find the Timepiece of the Timekeepers.
  2. II.Find the Code to break the seal using the whispers from the clocks.
  3. III.Collect the letters to form the pledge of the Timekeepers.
  4. IV.Decode the pledge. Three words which reveal a hidden truth.

The Guild suggests setting aside approximately 3 to 4 hours to truly follow the trail.

The Chronicle

The Guild of the Timekeepers

"Every clock is a sermon. The Timekeeper's task is not to count the hours, but to remind those who hear them that the count will end."

— Attributed to the Guild of the Timekeepers

The Founding

Long before the clockmakers' guilds formalised, there were the Timekeepers — a quiet order of horologists, sundial makers, and bell-ringers who believed that every timepiece set into the City's walls carried a voice of its own. Not a literal voice, but the kind that speaks to anyone patient enough to stand before it and listen.

The Timekeepers understood something the rest of the City forgot: that a clock is never just a machine. It is a witness to the hours, placed where someone decided a reminder was needed. And so, over centuries, they scattered their own kind of trail — not in gold, but in time, hiding letters and pledges in the timepieces that watch over London's streets, squares, and gardens.

The Trail

Eleven of those timepieces form the core of this trail. Find all eleven, in the right order, and you'll collect eleven letters — the Timekeepers' own pledge, set into the very clocks of the City, hidden in plain sight for anyone who remembers to look up.

Some have stopped. None of them have stopped counting. Some are still trying to be heard.

The clocks are set. The city is waiting. The Timekeepers hid their truth in plain sight — and now the trail is yours to walk.
